Rhonda Marr, L.Ac., M.S.Ac., Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)
Rhonda moved to Colorado after having a highly successful practice in Cortland, New York for eight years. She has been in continual practice for sixteen years. She has also worked for five years at a private Chemical Dependency in patient facility in New York.
Her mission is to facilitate in the healing of the body, mind and spirit of all patients through the use of compassionate, caring and individualized complimentary treatment therapies. Rhonda is Board Certified in Acupuncture by NCCAOM. She specializes in Traditional Chinese Medicine, incorporating acupuncture, cupping, electro acupuncture, gua sha, moxibustion, essential oils and body work therapies. She is an avid Western Herbalist and Aromatherapist.
Her education is comprised of a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Science from the Florida Metropolitan University, in Orlando, Florida and a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. She is currently a student at The Boulder Massage Therapy Institute and is scheduled to graduate on March 3, 2023.
Rhonda has completed advanced training in Acupuncture for the Cancer Patient, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She is a Certified Aroma Acupoint Therapist, which incorporates the use of essential oils on acupuncture points. Rhonda is Certified in Bliss Bowls Sound Healing and Angelic Reiki.
Rhonda is a Certified Cupping Therapist and member of the International Cupping Association. She is also Certified in Massage for the Cancer Patient, and Hot Stone Massage by Earth Stone Hot Stone Massage and Symphony of the Cells, which is the application of essential oils combined with massage. Rhonda continues to expand and build on her education by attending numerous continuing education events in acupuncture, energy healing, body work, herbal medicine and aromatherapy throughout the country.
Rhonda offers treatments consisting of Acupuncture, Integrative Massage, Moxibustion, Cupping, Gua Sha, Electro Acupuncture, Auricular Acupuncture, Symphony of the Cells which is the application of specific essential oils for the treatment of many conditions and her own Chakra Balancing Acupuncture system.
