For the last eight years, I have experienced an odd array of symptoms that I have recently discovered are due to bulging discs in the C5 and C6 area of my spine. My symptoms included pain, loss of sensation, tingling, dizziness, nausea, sensitivity to light, fatigue, and headaches. I first went to Acupuncture Specialists after I was out of work for two days due to overwhelming pain in my neck, pain so severe I was having to use my hand to lift my head off the pillow because trying to use my neck muscles was excruciating. During my first visit my practitioner systematically and thoroughly analyzed not only my symptoms, but my lifestyle and eating habits, which was impressive and encouraging. In my next visit, my diagnosis and treatment plan was laid out.
